Alban Lendorf is educated at the Royal Danish Ballet School in Copenhagen 2006, promoted to Soloist in 2010 and to Principal Dancer in 2011. He joined American Ballet Theatre in New York as Principal Dancer in 2015.
Alban Lendorf has performed most of the lead parts in the classical ballet repertoire including Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, Manon, Lady of the Camelias, Apollo, La Bayadère, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, Coppelia, Don Quixote, the Nutcracker, Napoli and many more. He has performed as guest star on some of the biggest stages around the world.
Lendorf had his debut as choreographer in 2015 with ‘Iguazu Falls’.
Awards and prizes include:

‘Dancer of the Year’ at Reumert Awards in 2012 and 2014.
‘Best Male Dancer’ at Prix Benois de la Danse at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow 2013.
‘Best Male Dancer’ at European Ballet Awards in Berlin 2014
Knighted by HM the Queen of Denmark in 2014
